A staple of the Ibanez catalogue, the Artcore range are the perfect tools for Jazz and Blues players.

A semi-hollow, Maple body guitar, the AS83-STE gives you bright, warm sound with a top end designed to cut through a busy mix. The neck is made up of Mahogany and Maple, giving the guitar a full bodied sound.

The AS83 is an Artcore Expressionist model, which means that is has a specially sculpted ‘Expressionist’ neck carve and a set of PAF-style Ibanez Super 58 pickups. Considering the cost of this instrument, it’s pretty safe to say it blows away the competition.

Onboard you will find a pair of Super 58 Humbuckers. Choose between a clean tone, add some overdrive with the neck pickup or increase the brightness with the bridge humbucker.
